Experienced Senior Broker and Director of The Mortgage Mum Specialist Finance
Shelley was the first Mortgage Mum to join our movement in 2019 and had a sharp rise to success due to her tenacious, solution focussed approach and passion for helping people. She has enjoyed building a presence on social platforms, podcasts, regularly appearing in mainstream media and presenting, as a mortgage and specialist finance expert, on stage in the UK and overseas.
As an experienced landlord with her own portfolio, Shelley has connected with other property professionals, nurturing aspirational investors and supporting experienced entrepreneurs to achieve their property and business goals.
Shelley continues to provide residential and buy to let mortgage advice under The Mortgage Mum, whilst also heading up our sister company.
Under The Mortgage Mum Specialist finance Shelley can offer a completely independent advisory service and is able to access additional finance options including Bridging, Commercial buy to let, secured loans, business finance and specialist mortgages for those who are high net worth.
Prior to joining The Mortgage Mum, Shelley was a Commissioning Manager within local government which involved finding strategic solutions to long standing issues, managing change, negotiating contracts and relationship management. Skills which are extremely beneficial in the world of finance to find the best deals for her clients.

Shelley loves the simple things in life – family time, catching up with friends, walks by the sea. She likes to relax through practicing Yoga, Reiki and escaping with a weekend away whenever possible – with or without her husband and three boys!
