Divorce and separation can be an incredibly tough time, sometimes change is inevitable for some households.

We have noticed an increase in enquiries recently and so I wanted to put together a video for those of you who may feel the world is on your shoulders enough already and the thought of dealing with the mortgage and finances is an added headache during a break up.

In this video I want to share with you a few points regarding your mortgage options during a separation or divorce which may provide support to you or loved ones, now or in the future.

Here at The Mortgage Mum, we’re here to make sure we’re doing what’s right for you in the short term and the long term. Mortgages are about more than just money, as I always say, so we try and really connect with the situation and make sure that you’re making decisions not from an emotional place, but that what’s right for you and your family in the long term.

We’re there to hold your hand through it. It’s a really difficult situation, there’s often a lot of emotion from a number of people, so please know we are there for you to make it as smooth as possible so that you can look ahead to the future.
